McCarter has worked on customer projects for applications ranging from oilfield to petrochemical to optics.  Many of these have moved into everyday use in the customer's systems and/or products.  The samples and sample design remains the intellectual property of the customer and McCarter is careful in maintaining confidentiality. After the completion of a sample job for Raytheon Corporation, Chris Roth, Mechanical Engineer, sent an email stating, " I want to thank you and your company for being so helpful in the fabrication process.  Your cooperation and willingness to put for the extra effort to understand our design intent helped to ensure the components assembled as needed when they arrived."

Manufacturability  McCarter assists our customers by consulting with the customer-supplied concept drawings looking for optimum manufacturability.  Many times our suggestions have averted costly mistakes before its too late.  While the basis of design and design criteria are protected and remain the proprietary property of each customer, McCarter retains the rights to our ideas and input.   

Fixturing is an integral element of bringing our customers concepts into reality.  With creative fixturing, our team is able to expand the scope of our manufacturing processes, which leads to the successful development of the customers components.  Many times the fixtures required have to be custom designed and crafted.  That is where our design assistance plays a crucial role.
