McCarter operates a 10,000 sq. ft. clean, fully-equipped facility 15 minutes east of Houston Texas with separate cleanroom,  manufacturing, laboratory, etching, welding, painting, and conferencing areas.

 

The McCarter Team is comprised of a multi-talented, efficient workforce with the proven ability to provide fast response to the complicated and/or critical needs of our customers. Most of the team has been with McCarter for many years and have weathered the ups and downs of our small business. This can-do attitude at McCarter has given us an excellent reputation for accomplishing tasks that others hesitate to attempt.

Doug McCarter, Vice-President and co-Founder, serves as technical integrator and customer liaison. He has worked in and with the petrochemical industry for over 30 years providing troubleshooting expertise on reciprocating equipment as well as supplying custom-machined parts.  Since 1999, Doug has co-authored and authored seven technical papers concerning SCSi processing and its application. Recently, he was designated as a "Senior Member" in SPIE that honors those who have significantly contributed to the optics and photonics community.

Ellie McCarter, President and co-Founder of McCarter Machine, controls the daily business operations. She has a BS in Business Finance.  Under her direction we have supplied critical components on government programs, received several awards such as Deer Park's Business of the Year, and maintains our critical customer base with the local petrochemical industry. 

 

Roger Paquin is a world-renowned material stabilization scientist, author, and teacher. Roger is a fellow in the SPIE Society. Fellows are Members of distinction who have made significant scientific and technical contributions in the multidisciplinary fields of optics, photonics, and imaging. At McCarter, Roger is providing the scientific merit into the implementation of SCSi into laser, telescope, and space systems.
